Over 15,000 squishy toys recalled: water beads pose death risk if swallowed

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has recalled over 15,000 squishy toys from sale on both sides of the Atlantic. Water beads contained inside these products can expand many times over when swallowed, causing choking or intestinal blockage — the CPSC warns even of death risk. The toys were a summer bestseller in the USA and Europe.
