Flooding in Nagoya: over 1 million residents threatened, evacuation underway

Heavy downpours struck central Japan, with the most severe situation in Nagoya, where the highest flood warning level was issued. Many streets in the city are already flooded and authorities warn the risk is rapidly growing. Over 1 million residents in the threatened zone have been ordered to take immediate action.
