Record Viking treasure discovered in Finland

Treasure hunter Kalle Lappinen discovered on 3 August near a church in the village of Sysmä the largest Viking-era treasure ever found in Finland. The find dates to the late Iron Age and contains silver. It follows another record discovery from the period found recently in Denmark.
