German-Polish man feared Warsaw metro, now wants to raise children there

Ricardo, a descendant of Polish emigrants, lived in Germany and Cyprus for years. When a friend urged him to ride Warsaw's metro, he refused out of fear for his safety. After finally giving in, he was positively shocked—Warsaw turned out completely different from what he expected. Now he wants to bring his parents there and eventually raise his own children in Poland.
