Berlin police locate woman with serious infectious disease

German police searched for 36-year-old Mary B., who left a Berlin hospital without authorization on 22 August. The woman suffered from a serious infectious disease of which she was unaware and urgently needed medication — her life was in danger. Officers appealed for people to maintain distance if she was spotted. Police announced the woman has been found.
