IAEA: Syria built nuclear reactor to produce weapons material

The head of the International Atomic Energy Agency said that Syria under Assad built a nuclear reactor configured to produce fissile material that could be used in nuclear weapons. This is IAEA's first such unambiguous statement on the matter. The reactor was never completed.
