Chinese spy satellite breaks apart into dozens of fragments in orbit

A mysterious Chinese reconnaissance satellite has broken apart into at least several dozen fragments in Earth orbit for unknown reasons. The incident worsens the growing problem of space debris. The causes of the breakup have not yet been explained.
