Vandal smashes Christ statue in Wrocław, second attack in a month

An unknown person destroyed a figure of Jesus Christ mounted on a roadside cross at the intersection of Kosmonautów and Trójkątna streets in Wrocław, striking it repeatedly with a sledgehammer. According to residents, the man "was smashing like crazy." This is the second attack on the same site in one month. Police are searching for the perpetrator.
