Economists: Polish central bank to raise rates 25bp after November forecast

Credit Agricole economists forecast that Poland's central bank will raise interest rates by 25 basis points following the November inflation projection. The move is expected due to strong GDP growth, spillover of the energy shock, and forecasts that CPI will exceed 3.5 percent, reaching as high as 5 percent temporarily. In the second half of 2027, the central bank may reverse this step.
