Avalanche in the Caucasus kills at least 11 climbers

At least 11 climbers died Sunday in an avalanche in the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic in the Caucasus, according to Russia's Ministry for Emergency Situations. Some expedition participants remain missing. The exact number of those unaccounted for has not been released.
