IMF: global public debt nearing World War II levels

IMF Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva warned after the G20 summit that conflict with Iran and curbs on resource flows through the Strait of Hormuz — affecting roughly 13 percent of global oil supply and 20 percent of gas — risk a new wave of inflation and slower growth.
