Poland closer to F-35A certification for carrying NATO nuclear weapons

Artur Kacprzyk of the Polish Institute of International Affairs told Defence24 that the Trump administration is more open than previous ones to certifying Polish F-35A fighters to carry American nuclear weapons under NATO's nuclear sharing program. At the same time, the US continues to oppose the physical stationing of atomic bombs on the eastern flank of the alliance. Kacprzyk points to clear "red lines" set by Washington on this issue.
