From October, NFZ to oversee wait times for 15 medical procedures

From October 1, the National Health Fund will take central control over scheduling of planned hospital procedures through the expanded AP KOLCE application. The changes cover 15 common medical procedures. New regulations aim to eliminate double bookings and irregularities, and patients awaiting surgery will receive SMS notifications about appointment dates.
