Farmer in Płońsk municipality unearths 710 pieces of military ammunition and grenades

On Tuesday, September 1, a farmer working fields in a village in Płońsk municipality discovered explosive objects buried in the ground approximately 20 meters from buildings. Sappers from Kazuń secured a total of 710 items: 271 pieces of ammunition, 109 hand grenades, 56 fuses, 174 grenade launcher rounds, and 100 other dangerous objects. Police remind the public that unexploded ordnance from World War II remains dangerous and must not be touched or moved.
