Tehran, 1943: Western powers decided Poland's fate without Poles

At the Big Three conference in November 1943, Western powers decided that disputes over Polish interests, including Lwów, were not a priority. According to Dr. Leszek Pietrzak, Poland was made to understand that its sacrifices on all fronts of World War II did not translate into real political influence. Decisions made without Warsaw's participation determined Poland's postwar borders and its dependence on the Soviet Union.
