Python from Chester Zoo cured of tumor with electrochemotherapy
Jodie Foster, a 4.5-meter reticulated python from Chester Zoo in Great Britain, underwent unique electrochemotherapy — a method originally developed for humans. Veterinarians together with oncologists from the University of Liverpool applied this technique to stop an aggressive tumor destroying the animal's lower jaw. After several months the snake returned to normal activity and regained its former vitality.
