Chimpanzees have regional accents, just like humans
New research suggests that chimpanzees from different groups have characteristic accents in their vocalizations, similar to humans. These features appear in young individuals and become more pronounced with age. Scientists from Queen Mary University of London, University of Portsmouth and Institut des Sciences Cognitives Marc Jeannerod reached these conclusions.
