NASA expanded Deep Space Network with new antenna in California

NASA added a new 34-meter-diameter radio antenna to the Deep Space Network (DSN) in the California desert, increasing its capacity. More than 40 space probes use the network, including Voyager 1 and 2 and New Horizons. DSN capacity has been overloaded for years, and Artemis 1 and 2 missions further restricted other missions' access to communications.
