UOKiK seeks to help Poles claim damages from foreign online shops
The Office of Competition and Consumer Protection plans to amend legislation that would give consumers access to out-of-court dispute resolution (ADR) also in conflicts with companies outside the European Union. Current rules limit this path to disputes with EU-based businesses. The reform aims to help buyers who purchased defective goods in foreign online stores.
