AfD may win Saxony-Anhalt election and seize power in state

On Sunday, elections to the parliament of Saxony-Anhalt in eastern Germany took place. Polls suggested AfD had a chance at an outright majority, which would mean Germany's first far-right state government since the Nazi era. The party's candidate for state premier is 35-year-old Ulrich Siegmund.
