Neolithic caves in Granada hold evidence of cannibalism from 7,000 years ago

Researchers analysing hundreds of human bone fragments from Neolithic caves in Granada, Spain, have found evidence pointing to acts of cannibalism. Radiocarbon dating places the events around 5300–4950 BC. The bones bear marks consistent with deliberate human action, according to the scientists involved in the study.
