Clinical trial to test if experimental drug can prevent Alzheimer's

An NHS trust is running an international clinical trial testing whether an experimental drug can prevent Alzheimer's disease if given before any symptoms appear. Healthy middle-aged people at higher risk of developing the condition are eligible to participate. The trial aims to determine whether early intervention can stop dementia from developing.
