Alcaraz and Medvedev advance to US Open fourth round with straight-set wins

Defending champion Carlos Alcaraz defeated Yibing Wu without losing a set in the third round of the US Open, advancing to the next stage. Former champion Daniil Medvedev similarly reached the fourth round without setback. Both favorites gave their opponents no chances on the hardcourts in New York.
