Volkswagen plans to close four German factories, shift production to Poland

A leaked 147-page Volkswagen Group restructuring plan calls for closing four German factories. Some models won't disappear from the lineup – their successors would be produced at cheaper plants in Czechia, Slovakia and Poland.
