110 people drowned in Poland this summer — vast majority were men

Poland's Government Security Centre reported 110 drowning deaths between 27 June and 31 August, with the vast majority of victims being men. Police data also show a 17% drop in road fatalities and significantly fewer road accidents compared with last year. Despite the road safety improvement, water safety remains a serious concern.
