Written homework to become optional for Polish school years 4–8 from September 2026
Education Minister Barbara Nowacka has approved changes to the assessment system in Polish public schools, effective 1 September 2026. Written homework assigned to years 4–8 will become optional and cannot negatively affect a pupil's grade. The reforms also cover changes to conduct assessment criteria and rules for vocational school students.
