PiS proposes seizing aggressive dogs with no right to re-adoption

PiS MP Kacper Płażyński has presented a draft amendment to Poland's animal protection law. Under the proposal, a prosecutor could order the seizure of an aggressive dog from its owner and transfer it to a shelter, with no right to subsequent adoption. The measure is aimed at improving public safety.
