Archaeologists uncover thousand-year-old settlement in central Lublin

Archaeologists conducting the largest excavations in Lublin's history have uncovered traces of ancient dwellings, hearths and pottery fragments in the city centre. The most significant find is the remains of a settlement dating to the turn of the 10th and 11th centuries. The discovery sheds new light on the city's early medieval history.
