Andrzej Wielowieyski, AK soldier and Solidarity adviser, dies aged 98

Andrzej Wielowieyski has died at the age of 98. He was a Home Army soldier, Catholic activist, communist-era opposition figure, Solidarity expert and adviser to Lech Wałęsa. After 1989 he served as senator, MP and Member of the European Parliament, and was awarded the Order of the White Eagle.
