Czech archaeologists uncover 6,500-year-old monument older than Stonehenge
Archaeologists near the Czech village of Chleby have unearthed a monumental structure dating back approximately 6,500 years. Its layout suggests it served as both a sanctuary and an astronomical observatory, aligned with the movements of the Sun and Moon. The structure predates the oldest elements of Stonehenge by more than a thousand years.
