Salmonella in Belgian eggs — contaminated batches not sold in Poland
At least 306 people in Belgium have been infected with salmonella after eating eggs likely from a farm in Geel, Flanders. The contaminated eggs were exported to several European countries, including Poland, but Polish authorities confirmed they were not offered for sale there. Belgian authorities ordered an immediate recall of the product.
