Polish employers face penalties if overdue holiday leave not granted by 30 September

Poland's State Labour Inspectorate has received nearly 7,000 complaints about annual leave over the past six years, with 800 filed this year alone. Employers who fail to grant outstanding holiday leave by 30 September will be committing a misdemeanour under the Labour Code. The deadline applies to leave that was not taken in the previous calendar year.
