FDA Approves First Targeted Daily Pill for RAS-Driven Pancreatic Cancer
The US Food and Drug Administration has approved a new drug from Revolution Medicines — a once-daily pill designed to block several forms of the RAS protein, which drives tumour growth in many pancreatic cancers. It is the first approved targeted therapy aimed at this specific cancer mechanism. Pancreatic cancer is among the most difficult cancers to treat.
