UOKiK charges Warsaw's PJATK university over illegal inflation-linked tuition hikes

Poland's consumer protection authority UOKiK has charged the Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology (PJATK) in Warsaw with violating collective consumer interests. The university raised tuition fees in line with the inflation rate for students who enrolled in the 2022/2023 academic year. Such unilateral hikes are considered illegal under Polish consumer protection law.
