Heatwave to hit Italy and Balkans with temperatures up to 45°C

Southern Europe is bracing for another wave of extreme heat. Italy faces the greatest risk, with temperatures potentially reaching 45°C, while the Balkans will see readings more than 10°C above seasonal norms. Poland has recently seen cooler conditions and is not directly in the path of this heatwave.
