Wałęsa loses appeal against historian Cenckiewicz in Warsaw court

The Warsaw Court of Appeal dismissed an appeal by former Polish President Lech Wałęsa in his lawsuit against historian Sławomir Cenckiewicz. The case concerned content in one of Cenckiewicz's books about the former Solidarity leader. Cenckiewicz responded to the verdict with the words: "Understand at last — the truth must prevail."
