Greece hit by heatwave with temperatures reaching 40°C, relief expected Thursday

Greece is experiencing another intense heatwave, with temperatures reaching 40 degrees Celsius. The Greek meteorological service says western Greece and the Peloponnese will be hit hardest by the extreme heat. Relief is not expected until Thursday.
