Nurse shark films a great white: a world first in ocean footage

Oceanographers at Florida Atlantic University have announced an unprecedented recording: a nurse shark fitted with a dorsal-fin camera captured footage of a great white shark accompanied by a school of fish. The four-minute clip is the first time one shark has ever filmed another. Researchers say cameras and drones are revolutionising marine biology by revealing behaviours previously hidden from human observers.
