Court upholds dismissal of probe into three deaths caused by falling tree in Rabka-Zdrój
A district court in Nowy Targ has upheld the prosecution's decision to dismiss an investigation into the deaths of two women and a child in Rabka-Zdrój. On 1 April 2024, a diseased ash tree fell during a storm in the town's spa park, killing three people. Investigators examined whether municipal workers failed in their duty to maintain the trees, but found no grounds for charges.
