Poland gains 12 new towns from 2027 — government publishes decree

The Polish government has published a decree granting town status to 12 localities from 1 January 2027. The regulation also adjusts the boundaries of some municipalities and existing towns. The changes form part of a periodic administrative update to the country's territorial division.
