Spain wildfires: 700 people evacuated from nine villages in Extremadura

At least 700 people have been evacuated due to wildfires near Spain's western border with Portugal. The fires are burning through forests around Las Hurdes in the autonomous community of Extremadura. Multiple fires are simultaneously affecting areas on both sides of the Spanish-Portuguese border.
