Rail freight operators: track modernisation wiped out passing loops, crippling capacity

Polish rail freight operators are sounding the alarm over the removal of passing loops during track modernisation, which has severely reduced network capacity. Without these loops, passenger trains cannot overtake freight trains, causing delays and economic losses. The sector is calling for urgent infrastructure investment.
