Poland tightens work rules for Colombian, Georgian and Venezuelan citizens
New regulations coming into force in a few days will significantly restrict the ability of Colombian, Georgian and Venezuelan citizens to take up employment in Poland. Lawyers warn the rules are discriminatory and risk pushing migrants into the grey economy. The Ministry of Labour argues the changes are meant to protect these groups from labour exploitation and human trafficking.
