Mass grave near Vienna reveals previously unknown Roman-era battle

Archaeologists have uncovered a mass grave on the outskirts of Vienna containing the remains of more than a hundred people who died in a previously unknown ancient battle. The site, found on a sports field, dates to the Roman Empire period. Researchers say the discovery sheds new light on ancient conflicts in what is now Austria.
