France wildfires: 2,000 tourists evacuated from campsite, 400 residents from homes

Roughly 2,000 people were evacuated from a campsite in western France on Thursday due to a nearby vegetation fire. In the south-west of the country, a separate forest fire forced around 400 residents to leave their homes. Local authorities are coordinating both evacuation operations.
