Tarnobrzeg mayor leaves PiS to join Morawiecki's Rozwój Plus association
The mayor of Tarnobrzeg, Łukasz Nowak, is reportedly joining Mateusz Morawiecki's Rozwój Plus association, leaving PiS, according to unofficial information from Dziennik Gazeta Prawna. A politician quoted in the report suggested that "quite a few local government officials will leave PiS." Nowak is the latest in a series of local officials distancing themselves from the party.
