AstroRad anti-radiation vest tested on Artemis I mission: results are impressive

The AstroRad anti-radiation vest flew aboard NASA's Artemis I mission, providing data on its protective capabilities even though solar activity was relatively low during the flight. Scientists were able to model how the vest would have performed during major solar events comparable to those of 1972 and 1989. The results were described as solid and useful for planning future crewed missions.
