Narva: the NATO border city where Russian is the dominant language
Narva, an Estonian city on the border with Russia, is one of the most unusual locations on NATO's eastern flank. Author Maja Wolny described in the WP programme "Żeby Wiedzieć" that during two visits she barely heard Estonian — Russian was the dominant language. The city is seen as a symbol of cultural and geopolitical tensions on the Alliance's eastern border.
