Cash & carry stores cheapest in July — price gap between chains exceeds 30%

A survey by ASM SFA found that in July the price gap for the same basket of products between the cheapest and most expensive retail chains exceeded 30 percent. Cash & carry stores were the cheapest option, while discounters turned out to be the most expensive in the comparison. The finding is notable given that discount chains are widely perceived as the budget-friendly option.
