HIV vaccines train rare immune cells to produce broadly neutralizing antibodies
Three studies in non-human primates, published in Nature on 11 August 2026, show that strategically designed vaccines can prime a specific population of B cells to produce broadly neutralizing antibodies against HIV. The findings mark a significant step towards developing an effective HIV vaccine.
